ABOUT  US

We are pioneers in the manufacture of Activated Bleaching Earth and our Mumbai plant was setup in 1951. A lot of hard and costly pioneering work was thus carried on by us from mining of suitable Bentonites to sizing of the activated earth to be able to satisfy our customers and to establish ourselves. As the chemical composition of Bentonites give no indication about their efficiencies of bleaching after acid activation, so huge amount of the work was done in there like selection of proper raw material, and each and every sample was actually painstakingly processed for its best activation and laboratory test carried out for each to find out its activity and efficiency of bleaching various pigments found in different vegetable oils.

Although India abounds in Bentonities and several parts of our country supplies various raw grades of raw materials suitable for various applications but we found that the properties of materials suitable for various application raw clay and its mining is of great significance. The deeper strata Bentonities although more difficult and expensive to mine- yield superior Activated Bleaching Earths of uniform quality. Moreover each operation during the activation process has to be efficiently controlled and standardised with lot of trial and error and all this took us year of hard time and money consuming We are now well established in this business and the various GRADES of Activated Fuller's Earth that we produce are being marketed all over India and we have a sizeable export for the last several years.

To cope up with our customer demand-which include so many top vanaspati manufacturing and oils refining concerns .We manufacture various grades of Activated Bleaching Earth suitable for bleaching Vegetable Oils , Mineral Oils, Refining Of Lubricating Oils etc.

Each of the above earth has been found most economical and effective for particular application and are always of uniform good quality giving utmost economy and efficiency by use as such or as mixture with good filtration rates and low oil occlusion

Activated Fullers Earth or Bleaching Earth manufactured by us decolourises oil to the maximum.

We specialise our product to delecolourise Soybean oil, Repressed oil, Coconut oil, Mustard oil, cottonseed oil, Groundnuts oil, Sesame oil, Safflower oil, Rice bran oil, Palm oil etc.

ACTIVATED  FULLERS  EARTH

ICMC Bleaching Earth (Activated Fuller Earth) found most suitable for bleaching and delecolourising soyabean oils, Repressed oils, coconut Oils, Mustard Oils, cottonseed Oils Groundnuts Oils, Sesame oil, Safflower oil, Rice bran oil, Palm oil etc. for the purpose of Hydrogenated oil or refined oil.

ICMC Bleaching earth is the most important agent for Bleaching and Decolourising de-gummed and Alkali Refined oils by adsorption. In the process of bleaching ICMC Bleaching Earth is used alone with activated carbon to remove colour, gums, resins and other impurities present in the oily adsorption due to their High Surface Activities, while having no effect on the composition of the oil so treated.

APPLICATIONS

The Highly sportive qualities of ICMC attapulgite make it ideal for a wide range of applications. The following are but the few of the many ways ICMC attapulgite has been effectively applied.
Polymerising pinen tupentine and other terpene liquids. It is used for removing gum forming constitutes from gasoline blending stock.

Oil Decolourising and Refining
ICMC attapulgite is used for the decolourising, stabilizing, neutralising, clarifying and decolourising sizes of solvents, mineral oils, fats and waxes. For these purposes both percolationand contact methods are employed.

Cleaning Oily Workshop Floor
ICMC Attapulgite Granulars are available in various grades for cleaning oily workshop Floor.

Pesticides Carriers and Diluents
ICMC Attapulgite in a granulars or powder from is used with many Pesticides formulations.

Reclaiming Reclaiming
ICMC attapulgite is an excellent adsorbent for the reclamation or regeneration of used transformer oils, fats and waxes, dry cleaning solvents.

Reclamation may involve a complete reprocessing of the used materials reforming it to its original state or simply a clean up involving the removal of water, acids, or solid contaminates. These operation may be of batch types or continuous type. A simple filtration through ICMC attapulgite can economically remove certain contaminants in some cases.

Re-refining of Engine, Lubricating Oils
AMGEEN is a specially processed grade of Attapuligite clay (hydrous magnesium aluminum silicate). Its unique physical properties make it most effective as a bleaching neutralizing and decolourising agent in the re-refining of engine and lubricating oils by contact methods.

Filtration of Special Product
ICMC attapulgite is used for decoloursing neutralising and stabilizing such materials as resins tall oils, cocoa butter animal oils, fish oils etc.

PROCESS

Percolation Methods

The material to be processed is filtered through column of granular attapulgite clay which has been heat activated usually between 300oc to 600oc the rate of percolation , temperature of operation and optimum temperature of activation of attapulgite are variable which should be determined experimentally for a specific application.

Contact Methods

The material to be treated is mixed with Amgeen attapulgite and slurry stirred for period of five to thirty minutes at elevated temperature under vacuum. The treated product is recovered by filtering through a plate and frame or continuous type of filter for optimum result , the amount of attapulgite clay used the temperature and the time of treatment should be determined by experiment.
